Took the grinder to my handlebars and cleaned up all of the welds, cut an inch and a half off of the grip ends, then proceeded to wrap the shit out of them with some hockey tape. I'm pretty stoked on how they turned out. With a great deal of help from Mr. George Perry a left side footpeg/shifter bracket was fabbed. I still have some cutting and grinding to do, but it looks like it's gonna be exactly what i'm looking for.
